‘Recipe For Change’ is The Mentulls’ 3rd album and was released to rave reviews last year. Now the band are embarking on a series of UK dates in both Spring and Winter of 2022. They also have a series of gigs across Europe. The band said, “We spent many hours crafting these songs in the studio, so it’s amazing to be able to recreate them live in concert. In the shows we managed to play in 2021, the new songs were received so well. We can’t wait to see you all on tour in 2022!” This album is the first to feature vocalist and multi-instrumentalist David Neil Crabtree, alongside founder members Andrew and Jamie Pipe who play guitar and keyboards respectively. David’s own work as a singer/songwriter is highly acclaimed. Andrew is British Blues Awards nominated, one of the youngest to be nominated for the award, two years running, whilst Jamie works with a multitude of top artists outside of The Mentulls. ‘Recipe For Change’ is progressive yet super hooky and accessible; aiming at a musical balance in the way artists like Genesis, Toto, Peter Gabriel, Journey and Rush did in the late 70s & early 80s. The band have toured with legendary acts like Wishbone Ash, Focus and Walter Trout and are equally at home on major festival stages sharing the bill with the likes of The Stranglers, Feeder, FM and Cats In Space. Packed with quality, ‘Recipe For Change’ marks a new era for The Mentulls and a shift in style. These dates offer fans an unmissable chance to check out what this great British band have been cooking up. |
