THE COST, featuring drumming sensation El Estepario Siberiano, bass guitarist Chris Attwell and vocalist/guitarist Peter Connolly, have announced their long-awaited first ever headline tour in Europe in support of their critically acclaimed debut album “The Doppler Affection”.
Hard-hitting premier single “Not For Me” was released in February 2024 and catapulted THE COST into the hard rock world quickly garnering millions of streams as fans of El Estepario Siberiano’s widely popular and viral drum videos longed to hear what the maestro and his virtuoso cohorts had created. Subsequent singles “Into The Drone”, “Her Eyes” (featuring Serj Tankian) and “Rogue” continued the band’s momentum and increased their listenership all over the world. With no record label to promote their music, their rise has been completely organic through word of mouth and active fan engagement.
THE COST then released the blistering “The Doppler Affection” in March of 2025 to much excitement from the fans, influencers and peers. Featuring ten songs, including the aforementioned singles, the album sees the band bring together three distinct musical backgrounds and cultures to create a unique and absolutely mammoth sound. With Peter and Chris being graduates of the Berklee Music program in Valencia and El Estepario Siberiano’s infamous drumming skills, the band seamlessly blend their technical prowess with great songwriting ability. Power and virtuosity meet soaring vocals, haunting melodies, anthemic rock choruses, and brutal breakdowns.
After performing their first show at the Comendatio Festival in Portugal and the upcoming Leyendas Del Rock in Spain, THE COST are thrilled to announce their premier headline tour as a band. Based in Valencia, Spain, the band felt it important to start with their home fans and, as such, the tour will embark with shows in Madrid and Valencia, proceed to Belfast and continue through Ireland and the UK before culminating with a home coming in Barcelona.

ABOUT THE BAND: THE COST was formed in Valencia, Spain in 2023 when drummer El Estepario Siberiano, bassist Chris Attwell and guitarist & vocalist Peter Connolly met at their producer’s acclaimed recording studio.
Chris and Peter performed in a jazz band that recorded at the studio and as El Estepario Siberiano explains he could hear them through the thin walls and was very impressed with their music and ability.
He thought to himself “they have a jazzy style, but if they just added some gain to what they were doing, it could be metal”. The result is the incredible Doppler Affection album.
THE COST’s debut single “Not For Me” has over 6 million streams and views across all platforms and garnered some airplay on Sirius Octane. Subsequent singles “Into The Drone” and “Her Eyes (featuring Serj Tankian of System of a Down) have also accumulated several millions of streams and views on DSPs. Debut album Doppler Affection was unleashed on 29 March, 2025 and reached #1 on the albums iTunes Charts in its week of release.
