Roberto Cacciapaglia: ‘Invisible Rainbows’ – New Album informs trio of UK concerts.
Neil O’Brien Entertainment is delighted to announce that the acclaimed Italian composer and pianist Roberto Cacciapaglia will perform a trio of UK shows in September 2023. The tour is on sale now – tickets and information available at robertocacciapaglia.com – and sees him return to the Cadogan Hall where he made his UK live debut in 2021, and perform his first ever shows in both Edinburgh and Manchester. At these shows, the composer will perform his latest album ‘Invisible Rainbows”, three singles from which have already topped charts in the UK, Italy, and China.
The album boasts some of the most significant compositions of his entire career. The Live show is created for listening but also to foster the audience’s deep participation, and these shows are designed to become an intimate and shared experience. With “Invisible Rainbows“, Roberto Cacciapaglia continues his work on emotional interaction – a constantly renovating experience in continuous development.

Classical age, tradition, avant-garde, and contemporaneity coexist in the music of Roberto Cacciapaglia. His exploration touched all genres and all fields to discover their essence and the origin that goes beyond divisions. Sound becomes a profound gaze in front of the mystery of things, an experience and awakening in the evolutionary journey.
The singles that anticipated the album are ‘Atlantis’, which attained the Number One position on the iTunes Classic Tops and featured on the Apple Music homepage, followed by ‘London Sleeps’, the only piano solo piece on the new album, and ‘Rainbows’, a number one on Apple Music.
An innovative and pioneering composer who blends classical tradition with electronic experimentalism, Cacciapaglia’s debut recording, 1975’s ‘Sonanze’, was the first quadraphonic LP released in Italy. Pitchfork stated unequivocally was a major influence upon the work of Depeche Mode, Soft Cell and The Human League.
Cacciapaglia has many links to the UK, and has been a regular visitor since 1979. He has worked extensively with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and many of the world’s finest orchestras, , but also with fellow pioneers Popol Vuh, Tangerine Dream and other artists of Cosmic Music. A committed environmentalist, Cacciapaglia composed the music for the European Space Agency expedition “Concordia” in Antarctica.
