AVAILABLE AT THEIR EXTENSIVE ‘EXOKOSM’ TOUR DATES THIS AUTUMN + AS PART OF THE BAND’S ‘ART EXCHANGE PROGRAMME’ : PRESALE HERE || BANDCAMP HERE

Ahead of their UK tour, alien ravers HENGE are ready to launch the next episode of their unique and spectacular comic book series.

The intergalactic music makers have once again teamed up with Judge Dredd comic artists to create the second part of the action-packed adventure.

As well as being available to purchase on Bandcamp and www.HENGEmusic.com, it will also will be available to fans for FREE as part of HENGE’S on-going, innovative art exchange scheme. Audiences at the band’s autumn tour will be able to swap their own artistic creations for a copy of the second episode. Part one was offered to fans for free in the same way.

HENGE lead singer Zpor said:

“Our ultimate objective with this initiative is to incite acts of creativity, encouraging humans to make and share things.

“Earth currency has little appeal to us. To see people’s joy in creating and then receiving the comic, that is worth much more than this so-called ‘money’.”

Episode two of the comic sees HENGE continue to battle the evil Urshto and his forces of misery – while revealing some of the trauma that amphibious drummer NOM endured as a child.

It was created by comic artists Tom Eglington and Boo Cook – both of whom have worked on Judge Dredd for 2000AD – along with Phil Buckenham, whose work includes graphic novels for Heavy Metal magazine.

The comic will be available at HENGE shows throughout September to November, during the tour to mark the release of the band’s second album ‘Exokosm’.

Picking up where their acclaimed debut ‘Attention Earth’ left-off, ‘Exokosm’ is another magnificent exploration into the sacred alien art form known as Cosmic Dross. Although there are currently no human words that adequately describe this otherworldly sound, it features thundering drums, clothes-shredding bass and whacked-out synths, forming songs which lay bare the joy of life.

HENGE came to Earth six years ago to spread their message of peace, love and harmony through unforgettable live shows that blend science fiction, psychedelia and theatre. They have been hailed with ‘reinventing space-rock for the 21st century’ while being honoured with the accolade of Best Live Act at the 2018 Independent Festival Awards.

Landing at a wide array of festivals and venues across the nation this Autumn, full dates and details are included below:
