Change is something AVALANCHE EFFECT are no stranger to. Whether that be in terms of musical direction or personnel, the Münster natives are constantly adapting their style to open the door for brand new musical possibilities.
The core, however, remains the same – something they have found especially important following the tragic loss of late drummer Jannick Pohlmann following his battle with cancer earlier this year.
But what does this mean for the sextet in terms of musical direction now? Honing their craft firmly in alternative metalcore, between clean vocalist Ben’s extraordinary range and heavy vocalist Nils’ powerful gutturals telling poignant stories through their genre-bending sound.
As a result, AVALANCHE EFFECT have been hitting milestone after milestone, with their single ‘Inner Self‘ recently surpassing over 850,000 streams and headlining the 2022 warmup event for ELBRIOT FESTIVAL, alongside bands such as LANDMVRKS, IMMINENCE, SIAMESE and many more.
