Album Preview – AVATAR – Dance, Devil, Dance. Full review to follow . . . .
Avatar have recently released their 9th Studio album, the previous being Hunter Gatherer being released in 2020. Three years ahead we’re welcomed with their brand new album Dance Devil Dance!
The best way I can describe this album from start to finish is badass. It’s a straight up front to back badass album, so many tracks of this record remind me of battle scenes, and intro scenes to episodes of Supernatural.
The riffs are so simple but electrifying and pull directly on your heart strings especially if you’re like me and sucker for an insane riff. Johannes’ vocals fit in perfectly with every beat with a voice that makes you want to headband, with that look on your face that calls this song “filthy” the lyrics don’t have to be but the feeling behind every single track is. To all metalheads, you will know exactly what I mean by this, you’re headbanging to the track and your face is all screwed up but everything is satisfying, it’s the signature metalhead look of being impressed with what they hear. In a nutshell, that is my face the entire way through listening to this album. If you’re in a low mood and you need to pick yourself up to let yourself know that you can own anything thrown at you in life, put on this entire album and that’s all you will be able to feel.
